Our UPVC Victorian Sliding Sash Windows have been developed to ensure that our box sash windows reproduce, as faithfully as possible, the simple grace of English sliding sash windows.

They are the ideal way to replicate your original sash windows without having to rub down and paint. The tilt facility makes cleaning easy and are a much welcomed improvement on the basic sash window design.

Our Timber Sash windows are the perfect answer for the traditionalist with improved sliding mechanism for ease of use and good energy savings too.

Married with Modern Technology

• Our Victorian Sliding Sash frames, meeting rails and glazing bars have been made slim, with traditional mouldings subtly modified to take advantage of modern construction technology.
• To carry the extra weight of double-glazed units, our sliding sash windows are hung on solid brass chains (sash cords stretch and break) retaining the long proven reliability of simple counterbalance weights.
• Quadruple draught strips stop rattles, and extremely high insulation (1.1W/m2K) sash double glazing units minimise heat loss and down draughts.
• Multi-layer timber and very careful attention to detail minimise the swelling and warping that causes jamming on timber sash windows of lesser quality during wet weather.

Unlike the original sliding sash windows the sashes by means of a pivot bar and tilt button allows both sashes to tilt inwards for easy cleaning.

The frames are reinforced using both aluminium and steel as required and supplied low E energy efficient sealed units which are factory fitted.You can choose a variety of hardware colours including white,gold or chrome and come Internally beaded ie the glass is beaded from the inside giving increased security and the glass is held in with an authentic looking sculptured bead.
