Glazing Cassettes

A revolutionary door glazing system for composite doors

Developed by Distinction Door Solutions and Nan Ya, the ABS snap together glazing cassette became the first cassette to be designed to match a specific design of door blank and this product is exclusive to Distinction Doors.

The unique screw-less glazing system is designed to match the panelling on the door, both in style and colour, and offers security without unsightly screws and plugs. The glazing cassettes are available in a wide range of styles and colours with glass ranges to suit all tastes and locations. Importantly, the solid colour cassettes (White, Black, Red, Blue and Green) are pre-pigmented (sometimes described as through-coloured) so that any knocks or scratches do not leave a white mark where paint is removed.

This door blank and glazing system has been used to upgrade the entrances of hundreds of thousands of homes in the UK over the last 10 years. The product is tried, tested and trusted.

  • Fast & easy snap together fitting
  • Through-colour solid colours and pre-stained finishes match the Nan Ya door
  • Moulding design and grain effect match the panelling on the Nan Ya door

The glazing assembly consists of an inner and outer cassette. Both of these have symmetrical male and female connectors/pockets, and are therefore reversible. An inner and outer are exactly the same.

The cassettes have channels around the outer and inner edges to accomodate glazing tape or sealant. Externally and internally the inner channel houses the seal between the cassette and the glass unit, and the outer channel houses the seal between the cassette and the door skin.
